Fashion Giant Dior Decides To Drop Travis Scott’s Perfume Line In The Aftermath Of The Astroworld Tragedy ‘Until A Later Date’

Travis, for his part, had been expected to collaborate on a new fragrance with the company entitled ‘Travis’ Cactus Jack line.’

But in light of everything that has happened with the Astroworld incident, in which a reported 10 people were killed as well as others injured, the company could be forgiven for wanting to distance themselves from Travis.

This is especially since he has been singled out for criticism in response. In an official statement, Dior said: “Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection.”

Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind the following thing. Reports suggest that this decision with Dior was a mutual one.

Therefore, there is a feeling that there is still a possibility of a collaboration at some point in the future, but as of now, it is probably not the right time for it.

After all, given that an investigation is ongoing which includes lawsuits in order to determine whether or not Travis is going to be held liable, it is only wise that the company waits for the outcome of the investigation before deciding if they want to collaborate with Travis.

A source told TMZ the following: This was a mutual decision made by both Dior and Travis Scott to postpone the upcoming collection due in Jan ’22 with both parties working to reschedule the launch at a later date.”

And yet, this is unfortunately one of many brands that have come forward to cut ties with Travis. Just recently, Nike had also decided to call off the release of their sneakers made in conjunction with Travis Scott.

In addition, another partnership with an alcohol project was also called off. Time will tell whether Travis Scott will be able command the respect of the biggest brands, but as of now, things are not looking very good.
